“As I predicted months ago, Pelosi would be unable to resist the Progressive Left faction and would have to serve them impeachment on a platter”
Did you predict that Mr. Trump would try to use his office as President to induce a foreign power to gather dirt on his opponents? My impression is that Ms. Pelosi was successful in keeping the wolves at bay until Mr. Trump shoved his ‘high crimes and misdemeanors’ down her throat.
“even if it means the Democrats lose their House majority in 2020 and Trump wins an Electoral College landslide.”
You‘re whistling past the graveyard.
Your attempts to make this about Mr. Biden are a creative form of misdirection — and it’s not working. But I understand that conservatives will cling to their line “But what about Biden’s son?” to the bitter end. It’s all they’ve got.
“Why not join me in calling for a complete investigation of the Biden Ukrainian Corruption scandal”
What is there to investigate? The prosecutor that Mr. Biden asked the Ukraine government to dismiss was the primary OBSTACLE to an investigation of Burisma. You’ve got it backwards!
Anyway, you’re welcome to your opinions, but at the moment we know so little about this situation that any prognostications are mere speculation. I have read both the rush transcript of the telephone call and the nine-page whistleblower report. It is obvious from these that Mr. Trump tried to enlist the aid of the Ukrainian government in getting dirt on Mr. Biden, nor does he try to deny that he did so; he argues only that he did not DEMAND the aid of the Ukraine government.
I would prefer to wait for more details to emerge before drawing solid conclusions. I am particularly interested in learning why the American ambassador to Ukraine was fired, and why a major player in this story precipitously resigned yesterday. Let’s get some more facts before declaring victory or defeat for either side.
