I can't speak for other people -- and neither can you. You lump all white people into one massive bloc, denying the enormous diversity within a group comprising a few hundred million people. I would never be so racist as to describe black people in such a simplistic manner.
The problem of race relations in America is immensely complex. Some of it is historical, but there is also flat-out racism, xenophobia, economic issues, and a host of other factors at play. Black police officers shoot blacks with the same frequency that white police officers. America elected and re-elected a black President. Mr. Trump retweets a video with a man shouting "White power!" This is not simple.
I am currently delving into racism in other societies to see if I cannot isolate the factor of slavery in America.
