I suspect that your evaluation of my comment as a "random mess" reflects not your editorial judgement but your political judgement. My suspicion is buttressed by the fact that you make assumptions about me personally ("class first leftist"). The most revealing aspect of your comment, however, is that you make no attempt to address any of the points I made.
I do not see any substance in your point that you were able to climb out of poverty but you were not able to eliminate racism. If prejudice were directed against you because of your poverty, then you'd have a point, but that's not your assertion. Here's a simple analogy showing why I think your point illogical:
"I was able to chop down a tree but I still can't climb Mount Everest."
What does one have to do with the other?
