No, I would not support them, but I wouldn't have bothered voting for candidates who had no chance of winning. My time would be better spent helping organize a second party.

Yes, cooperation between parties would be nice. To accomplish that, we must destroy the whole adversarial style of politics that the Republicans initiated and have always led the Democrats on. I expect that the Democrats will use their victory to extract their revenge, cramming a lot of things down Republican throats. That, of course, won't make things much better, but if the Democrats first grind Republican noses in the dirt, THEN offer a more collegial approach, the Republicans might just reform.
