What an overwrought, undercooked pile of bull! Stranger Things is not a political discourse — it’s a STORY! Its purpose is to entertain. It has hours of material and I’m sure that a similarly fanatical global warming denier could pick out some tidbits to ‘prove’ that the global warming conspiracy was well underway in the 1980s. A similarly fanatical communist could find mountains of ‘proof’ that the show secretly vaunts capitalism, and a similarly fanatical capitalist could ‘prove’ the opposite.
